Since 1970 I have worked with many important private collections throughout the United States to help build their collections and have placed significant American Art with many museums including The White House, (Washington, DC). Major institutions have sought my opinion on current values for specific works of American Art in order to establish proper insurance for paintings in their collections when they are lent to other institutions for exhibition. I appraise individual paintings or entire collections that require updated appraisals for fine arts insurance policies or financial planning. Over the years I have compiled a large network of professionals that service the fine arts marketplace. I am available free of charge to private collectors, corporate collections and museums to advise and assist them by offering referrals to framers, restorers, installation specialists, insurance brokers and fine art movers. Working with estate attorneys I have written Fair Market Value appraisals to help facilitate the estate with establishing values in the current market and provided referrals for the proper placement of works of art for sale. In the past years I have assisted private collectors establish values for donation of their fine art to museums and provided them with written appraisals to be filed with the I.R.S. for tax deductions based upon the current I.R.S. guidelines regulating such donations. You can obtain relevant I.R.S. forms (such as form 8283) and publications by visiting their website: www.irs.gov. Credentials
